DEGDS originally repaired our door in December 2021. Last week (April 2024) the door would no longer open (spring failed) and they came out and made an emergency repair and ordered the correct spring and finished the repair this week - all under warranty. What I really appreciated was whomever came out did a great job of communicating their schedule/status so I didn't have to wait for hours to be ready for their arrival.

I came to Delaware Express Garage Door Service following a recommendation from a neighbor. We had some issues and had to decide if we should do a temporary fix or replace our whole system.This company guided us through our options and gave us extremely fair quotes and a range of options. I was never pressured into doing anything, and when we went with the full replacement, which meant we had to wait a bit for the doors to come in, they were still kind enough to do not one but two temporary fixes for us so that we could function in the mean time.They were quick and professional, always showed up ON TIME, and always were very easy to communicate with. I will say, not everything was 100% smooth, for example our 30 year old operator broke during install (not their fault) and we had to run and get a new one, but they did everything they could and managed all problems extremely well, finding fast and sensible solutions. In those moments they showed their value and expertise!Everyone we worked with was great, but a special shout out to Tracy for running point and managing our project really well and to Josh who did the major installation. I am so thankful and thrilled with our doors.

Repairman came and fixed the original problem (a broken main spring, which he replaced), but that created a different problem—a grinding noise when the electric door opened and closed. The repairman claimed to have fixed the new problem, but in fact it was not fixed. That caused us to complain about the service. In response the owner (Dana)) came personally to our house and was able to diagnose the issue and arrange for a different repairman to fix the problem early next week. We are grateful to Dana for taking care of long standing customers such as ourselves.

I had this Company come out and install my new belt drive garage door opener along with updating the wheels and a few other components. We are now about 2 yrs later and there is a popping noise coming from one of the tracks. Monday at lunchtime I called and they had me scheduled for the following day. I was given a 2 hour window and the technician showed up to the minute at the beginning of that window. Within 30 minutes the problem had been diagnosed, resolved and my door was opening and closing perfectly again. His knowledge was fantastic, his courtesy was exemplary, and he even reminded me that the whole repair was under warranty from when I had the original work done. Satisfied is merely an understatement. Thank you for a job well done !!!

Delaware Express Garage Doors went above and beyond to deliver an exceptional installation experience. Last year we found out there was a problem with the factory paint, and Delaware Express contacted the manufacturer and negotiated a free replacement door on our behalf. They kept us updated on progress and scheduled a complementary replacement. I cannot say enough about the quality of their service, and the professionalism of their installation and service technicians! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing garage door installation or service.

Outstanding service and very reasonably priced. Delaware Express was the only vendor that made me aware that I could file an insurance claim for the garage door replacement which saved me $3,000! Arrived on time the day of the installation, finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up, and even helped me download an ap for opening and closing the garage door! Thoroughly impressed. They were able to work around my schedule to get my door repaired the same day after an 18 year old spring failed. I was very impressed with the prompt response I got from their scheduling team.Draco from their team arrived promptly at our property and was very professional and personable. He diagnosed the problem while Jim was available on FaceTime with us. They did not try to pressure me into buying their service. Joshua was nice enough to hang out a bit longer to check out my other 2 doors that need some sprucing up. Ordered the door and it arrived on time. Installers were on time and completed in the installation in about 4 hours. The installers were professional and left garage clean and removed the old door and hardware. Had a slight problem with the door hanging up and not closing. I called and the installers came back promptly and fixed the problem. The door looks great. The entire process from ordering through installation was efficient and they kept me informed throughout the entire process. All the employees were very helpful.

One of the torsion springs on our garage door broke, thus disabling it.Out of sheer panic and desperation I called Delaware Express Garage Door Service. It was Labor Day and I fully expected to talk to an answering machine. Almost unbelievably a young lady answered and was actually able to set up a service visit the very next day.The following morning a service tech, Draco, arrived exactly as scheduled. He looked the situation over and, after a thorough inspection, he advised a total door rebuild.We went with it. They were even willing and able to work with us financially, which was a huge help!Draco informed us of an additional issue with the lift mechanism. It was making a loud grinding sound and he advised a replacement for the gear and sprocket part of the lift system. He also adjusted the belt, which was way too tight from the initial install years ago.Now we are going to schedule that replacement soon.This is a great company with fantastic service and a willingness to work within their customer’s financial constraints. Jim gave us several options for repairs and allowed us to choose what works best for us.Draco is a fantastic service man who is actually “school trained” in garage doors. Tech installed new motor and track and got the door adjusted and the keypad programmed. He was new and didn't know how to program the 2 remote controls and said he would let the office know and someone would be out to do that. Within an hour the owner of the company was here any had the remotes programmed within 5 minutes. We had a very nice conversation afterwords. Great company y to deal with and know what they are doing.
